🚀 GSoC'23 Project Summary: CircuitVerse VueJS Simulator 🚀 Contributor: Arnab Das Mentor: Devjit Choudhury The project aims to finalize the Vue.js circuit simulator development, transitioning from JavaScript to TypeScript for improved maintainability and robustness. This shift enhances performance, stability, scalability, code readability & easy maintainability. Here's a snapshot of our key milestones: - Vue.js Conversion: Moved components to Vue.js, making the simulator more flexible and the code simpler. - Integration: Combined the Vue Simulator with the main repository for a smoother development flow & deployment of the simulator. - API & Security: Design & Set up new API endpoints and strengthened them with JWT security. - UI/UX Upgrades: Improved user interfaces, added features, and enabled panel dragging. - Performance Boost: Enhanced simulator speed and reliability for steady simulations. - Embed & Languages: Added an embed view for sharing and previews of circuits, and introduced multi-language support. - TypeScript Transition: Shifted from JavaScript, especially old dependencies like jQuery, to TypeScript. - Code Cleanup: Began refactoring for a tidier and more efficient codebase. For a deeper dive into the project's intricacies, refer to our detailed report at https://lnkd.in/dY6umj2D
